She has pursued her Masters in ophthalmology from Pad. Dr. D.Y Patil college and hospital, Navi Mumbai and thereafter has done medical retina fellowship in H.V Desai eye hospital, Pune.
Dr. Pooja has worked at Shivanand mission eye hospital, Rajkot for a year.
She is a proficient cataract and anterior segment surgeon. She has keen interest in Refractive surgeries.
She is a member of many prestigious ophthalmic associations, including BOA, MOS and IMA.
